About Armstrong Milling:
Over 60 employees at Armstrong Milling manufacture more than 400 Wild Bird and Caged Pet products. In 1986, it was evident there was a need in the Southern Ontario Market place for a packer of quality bird food. Over the last 27 years, Armstrong has continued to invest in its infrastructure and employees. In 2013, the addition of a state of the art 12,000 square foot warehouse with new roll through racking was built to keep the code dated “fresh wild bird food” flowing. Armstrong will have over 50,000 square feet of facilities to support its customers’ needs by the end of summer 2014. In 2013 a new production line added significant excess capacity to meet the growing needs of this expanding category. The mill has been fully refurbished from grain receiving to consumer packaged product shipping in the last five years.
